Friday Night Outing/Louche

Friday, April 4th 8:30 PM to Saturday, April 5th 2:00 AM

Hi Ladies,

We have a special treat for you for this coming Friday Night Outing!
This time around we're taking the gang to a fabulous party, hosted by my good friend Paul Nathan, called Louche.
Paul has offered us either a group discount at the door or a free table. I need to give him a head count, so please RSVP ASAP if you want to be included as part of our group. This will help determine which type of discount we get.
There will be table space for everyone that wants it.

Here are two links to information about Louche, and below are some suggestions for appropriate attire, courtesy my friend Wendi, followed by a description of Louche by my friend Paul.

Please RSVP to me at eve@adamtoeve.com or (415) 999-3013 if you'd like to attend this week's Friday Night Outing. We will be meeting first here at the Adam to Eve Studio, starting at 8:30pm. My assistant Robin and I WILL be available to do Head to Toe Transformations and Makeup Application before we head to Louche. There is also a changing room here for those who need it. I'm asking $5 from everybody who's not otherwise purchasing Adam to Eve services, to cover the cost of munchies, drinks & wine. My new assistant Robin Summers Mitchell will be collecting at the door. Thanks.
Really looking forward to seeing you all!

A couple of people have asked me about appropriate dress for this event. I've been to it before, and there is a romantic attitude to these absinthe parties. The last time I went, I saw many people dressed elegantly, some in Victorian fashions. Others were dressed more Bohemian. Of course, many people were in contemporary styles, but overall, the feeling was that of a "special event", rather than a general club scene. Very few people were dressed in jeans, or what would generally be considered "street clothes."

Absinthe conjures up images of a bygone time, a European decadence, and an artistic attitude. Dress accordingly. If I recall correctly, the last time I went I wore a red and black lace cocktail dress.

Hey Kids-

All of this sunshine got you parched? Well guess what- its
refreshment time again.

Friday, April 4th we will be unveiling America's newest absinthe 'Le
Tourment Verte' at San Francisco's newest absinthe soiree- Louche.

Louche is a monthly post-urban bonfire underworld welding the wild
splendor of the old country with the throbbing fervor of tomorrow,
where the rare-era garb of neo-burlesque flirts with newfangled
frolic and krypto-green libations fuel red-hot abandon on the dance
floor. Dare to dress up and come share a glass of the green fairy
with some of San Francisco's most licentious dandies and demimondes.

Enjoy nu-gitane musique with some of SF's most devious DJs including
Delachaux, Smoove, Fact.50, & Miz Margo!

Plus midnight kabaret with Leila Bazzani & Delilah!

I'm buying for the first hundred people that show up. I've have two
bottles of this fantastic new treat and I'll be pouring samples for
everyone until they run out.

Paul
