Come join Kalina and Christina for a terrific tgirl bar & club crawl in Philadelphia on Friday, October 26, 2007! Everyone is welcome, both tgirls and gentlemanly tgirl admirers! We'll hit at least 3 different bars and maybe even an afterhours club! This is an open and accepting environment for both beginning/novice dressers to full-time transsexuals and the men and women who love them!
The fun begins at 7:30pm at Tavern on Camac!
We will initially meet at the basement bar at Tavern on Camac located on 243 South Camac Street (Camac is between 12th and 13th Streets). From there we will move on to other bars and clubs as listed in the itinerary below.
7:30pm Tavern on Camac basement bar
Meet the girls for an optional dinner (you are responsible for your own expenses).
9:00pm Tavern on Camac Ascend Lounge
Meet the girls in a club-like atmosphere.
10:30pm Woody's or 12th Air Command
Dance the night away!
12:00am Sisters or Pure
Dance the night away some more!
There are no changing facilities in any of the bars or clubs, so if you need a place to dress from boy to girl, please rent a room in a nearby hotel, such as The Alexander Inn (located on the corner of 12th and Spruce Streets), 215 923-3535, $119 to $159 per night or Uncle's Upstairs Inn (located on the corner of Locust and Camac Streets), about $139 per night.
If you are concerned about your safety in a big city, don't. We are travelling together in a large group.
Restaurants in the area: Valanni (Mediterranean-Latin cuisine, located at 1229 Spruce St), average entree price $24. El Vez (nouveau Mexican cuisine, located at 121 S. 13th St), average entree price $23. And, of course, you can also dine at the restaurant at Tavern on Camac (American cuisine), average entree price $19. Sisters Nightclub (1320 Chancellor St), average entree price $6.95. You are responsible for your own expenses! Many restaurants automatically add 18% gratuity for large groups, so please account for that.
From the Philadelphia Airport to downtown Philadelphia, cab fare costs $35. From 30th Street Station to downtown Philadelphia (Tavern on Camac), cab fare costs $8. Be sure to tip your driver!
Join us at any point on the itinerary for an evening of fun! Everyone is responsible for their own cover charges and expenses. Most bars in Philly are free. Some clubs charge $5 or $10 cover.
